Default MAF Shocker!!!

I've just been to my local Subaru dealer to happily purchase a new MAF for my 1999 UK Turbo. I tripped down the step as I entered then I swallowed my tongue when they told me how much it was going to cost me £256+VAT!!!

To not seem too much of a pikey I ordered some new mats. But there was no way I was gonna pay that much for a MAF.

Do any of you fellas know anywhere that I can get one from for cheaper than Subaru quoted?

Any links, phone numbers, donations will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Your loving son Trem

You can buy the sensor on its own, you've been quoted for the housing as well.

Part no 22794AA010 Meter CP-air flow

About £80 if I remember rightly.

I believe not.
I think that subaru uk know they are onto a winner with this.
I can happily state with gusto that driveshaft grease is a new improved variety that wont liquidise under heat/pressure.
mine failed.

The power of SN

I believe the later MAFs have a different colour spot painted on them to the originals but I can't remember what colour the new ones are supposed to be.
