Can anyone tell me what the spec is on a Z4 ecu, as opposed to the std 93wrx one. I know that the power output is 260bhp, as opposed to 240bhp. But what about fueling and boost limits etc
cheers

These ECUs are designed for 100RON, so put the best fuel you can get in there.
Also with a Dawes running at a bar you'll be doing this to the redline, so best monitor for knock.
FYI OE Z4 boosts to 12.9 psi, the fuel cut is 15.5 or therabouts.
I used to have a MY95 WRX(Z4) with full decat and filter running a Dawes set at 1 bar (14.5psi) and it ran fine, I always used SUL and octane booster - then Optimax + OB when optimax was launched.
If you ever get a bad batch of fuel then do a reset as soon as the good stuff goes in.
