Default Leaking boot?? Anyone??

My MY03 boot has just started to leak (I think) as the carpet lining is damp....has anyone experienced this?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have the standard boot spoiler or an aftermarket or STi one fitted?

Iv heard of water getting in to the boot via the boot spoiler

it's the standard STI one.

that sounds as it it isn't bolted on tight enough or the sealant is lose or something??

Could be ,if thats where its comeing in at.

have you had someone wash the back of the car, while you look in the boot to see if you can see where the water is comeing in from?

no, it's a recent occurance but have noticed a little more vibrating noise than usual when going over any bumpy stretch of road. I'll take a look at it this weekend!

it may be the back lights. try taking them out re sealing them and bolting them back in.
