Question Holding back after reset on MY01?

Ive just had my CEL reset with the catalyst below efficiency code on it, which i was expecting to get after decatting it a few months ago.But since the reset,it doesnt seem to pull through the revs as well as it did before and feels like its holding back slightly between 3.5-5K revs, once its over 5K it pulls fine and smoothly up to the redline. Its boosting fine at 0.9bar but it just doesnt feel right.

Anyone have any ideas before i take it back to the dealers?????????????

Thanks

easy

Once it gets reset, the ECU then goes through a self learning process, go for a 45 minute hard drive & it will soon learn where it was & the power should return.

if not I'd then start with the spark plugs, though you should be fine

Could also be MAF related, ECU having now forgotten the adjustments it had made to smooth out the signs of a failing MAF...

Can the dealers tell if the maf is gradually failing on their diagnostic equipt?

Is it worth cleaning the maf with carb cleaner on the MY01's

I think so. There must be a table of minimum "safe" voltages, for various revs and loads, below which would indicate the MAF was leaning out...
