i think pic 1 is the standard recirc dump valve.

then again i could be wrong!

yep its the standard recirc dump valve , the second is probably a fuel breather filter thingy.

is the first not the valve control for the tumble generator valves and the second is a fuel regulator

First picture is a t-piece connector used by the ECU, not recirc dump valve.

Second is the standard fuelreg.

so what does the tumble generator do ?

it routes air flow around the injector tip to maximise turbulance so the fuel and air mix is better. it looks like a throttle butterfly in the manifold and is there for emissions on cold start up i think.

Are you sure about the fuel regulator. it doesn't even appear to connect to the fuel lines.

I though the fuel regulator was bolted directly to the end of the fuel rail, above piston No.3 (near turbo)
