Question Optimaxs v's BP Ultimate

I have a jap sti & have found that it runs much sweeter on BP Ultimate + 120ml of NF than Optimax + 60ml of NF. The KL is far quieter on the BP? Just wondered if anyone else had found the same or can explain this?

How about with equal amounts of NF in each ? It's hardly a fair comparison with twice the NF in the BP. Also have you run several tanks of each in a row? Several people have noted that the first tank after switching seems to run better than the ones that follow.

A strange comparison indeed. I take it you're not a scientist then...!

BP ultimate caused my SAAB to reduced boost (never mind using it my sccob - no way) TBH ultimate was never designed or sold as a "perfomance fuel" IIRC

optimax is suposed to be 98.6RON + 1ml/ Litre is reported to increase RON by
1 RON = 99.6............... ~ BP + 2ml = 99 RON. So if anything in theory it should run marginaly better on the Optimax. This is not the case in my experience. I have run 4 tanks of BP now and have not noted any decrease in performance, infact quite the opposite.

Ross, have you tried it on Optimax and 120ml of NF ..... Ultimate is pants btw and definately not a good move, especially if its in the car for mapping. Its not all about ron.
