Default Speedo Problem

Have '97 STI V3 with earlier style dash/clocks.
Have a problem with Speedo in that it runs 10 mph slow!
It has been converted etc and will do considerably more than 112 so that seems ok, but has white dial conversion (it wasn't me!!). Do you think some ham fister has strained spring?
If so, can I replace just speedo or do I have to replace whole lot (incl fuel and temp) and if so any ideas where I can get from?
To be honest, would be no problem if replaced with black faced dials.
Slight problem or safety feature of white dials is that red line is 7k not 8!!
Any help much appreciated.

No you just need to change RPM and MPH because they're connected.

I've also some problems with speedo. Most of the time it stays at 0 KMH and suddenly jumps to 60 or 90 kph. Dealer wants 300$ for that

sprayed WD40 and some contact sprays but doesnt matter
