I couldn't find the green connectors on my MY95 so just disconnected the battery for an hour then did an ECU diagnostic with the black connectors. Same end result.

What year is your car?
Mine is a MY95. I found it easier to take off the panel thing below the steering wheel as you look a bit daft crawling around upside down trying to see under it
On mine the two small black connectors were tied to a bigger yellow one. The black ones have a single spade connector type thing, they're about 10x10x20mm in size. Mine were over towards the left.
The two black ones click when they connect. Turn ignition to "on" but not to start position. Check engine light will flash the codes as described on that page.
Good luck!

I also couldnt find the black connectors. I found 2 slim green connectors, and 2wide white connectors. I connect green to green white to white and car gets crazy on start position Fuel pump started to pump the gas more than one. Selonoid valves was also running.
I did not see CEL comes on. So I didnt start the engine with the connectors connected.

They are there.
Get a torch, and just look for spare connectors.
The black ones have one one pin inside it, male and female connectors.
Green ones are easy to find. Just have to dig them out
