Chances are it will be a different map. It may also be the "piggy-back" chip ecu and not the later Ecutek based item, so may not take a re-map. Someone else may be able to confirm this?
Don't forget the ecu was mapped to work with the Prodrive exhaust system!

Your question doesn't really make any sense. The PPP for the WRX and the PPP for the STi are fundamentally different products. If you remapped an STi PPP ECU to put it in a WRX, it wouldn't be a PPP ECU anymore, because it's been remapped, if you see what I'm saying.

Nope in one easy answer.
The STi engine is a different kettle of fish to the wrx's engine which the map would have been set up for, different turbo, bigger injectors etc (get the picture )
If its because you want 300bhp your best going for a change in turbo and getting it ecutek'd, if you see that both the PPP's only really increase the power by around 30bhp (its not really an option to even think about this as its now all theoretical as they cannot be mixed and matched).

Hope this helps

Tony
