Angry Emmissions nightmare

Ok..... Here i go.

1993 WRX

Emmission (CO) is around 10%!!!!

A little more than the regulation 0.3!!!!

Replaced:

Lambda probe
Exhaust
air flow meter and filter
TPS
ECU
a Bad coil pack
plugs
Removed Dump valve and put back to STD

Running out of ideas.

Cat looks OK (STD Turbo downpipe)

Any suggestions peeps?

So, is it just the DP cat that's still on the car? I have my original catted DP + centre if it would help diagnose. I'd need them back though. Live in Motherwell, but work in Livvy if you need them.

Has the car any gauges - specifically air/fuel?

from the cat back, so you've not tried another cat or have you left the DP one and just added another catted centre?

my car flew through an MOT with just the OE centre, so that would be enough. I'm no expert, but I'd want to monitor how it was fuelling otherwise you're going to start replacing expensive bits.

I have an Lambdalink if you need that. Again, I've just not got round to fitting it, so would need it back.

Try an engine coolant temp sensor, it might think the engines stone cold and is richining up the mixture, but it still shouldn't be anywhere near 10%. It's a cheap and easy item to change and would be 1 of the first items I would always check for any running / emmission faults.
