boost problem

boost problem
have got a 93 WRX when accelerating the boost comes on slightly then it sort of coughs a few times and full boost comes on the car then pulls fine. This doesnt happen every time though. Any ideas?

Are you running 98 RON (optimax) + a decent octance booster?, remember your car is mapped for Jap fuel 100 Ron, anything less will cause problems.

This doesnt happen every time though. Any ideas?
You're probably looking at £70 upwards for a second hand one (and be careful, as I've known a few people (including myself) who have bought a "duff" used MAF). And I think you'll pay around £200 for a new one (I recommend Grade-A, but anyone will do
)
