Default Would a MAF sensor break in the post?

Just won an unused MAF sensor on Fleabay for MY00 impreza. I know people go one about them being fragile and I wanted one as a back up and becuase my car had been running an ITG panel filter for a while which I was advised by PE to replace before remap.

Anyway, I'm assuming they are not that fragile that it could break in the post? Just felt that it might be wise replacing both MAF and Lamda as they are still the original ones after 48K

thanks

I would have thought it would be ok. Remember, post is how they all end up at your local dealer

Just make sure its wrapped well, and the element is NOT touched by anything.

PS, very wise to change both. Do an ECU reset straight after.
