gearbox oil
i've been told to go for either castrol syntrax or redline shockproof, but it's quite hard to just get it without mailorder, which i'd rather not do. now, i can get millars products no probs and for a good price to, so i was wondering if their g-box oil would be good enough and if so what one? IIRC there's two different ones?
thanks

If you can't find your stuff, I'd recommend Silkolene Pro S.
Makes the gearchanges at high speed feel really silky, I love it
Bit of a notchy feel when cold at low speed, but it doesn't last long - about 5 minutes, maybe 10 on a cold day.

Put red line in mine and it did not like it, started crunching going from 3rd to 4th.
Changed to Syntrax (bought from dealer for £6 ltr they have it in bulk) problem sorted.

How long did it take for the Syntrax to cure the crunching, I've just changed to Syntrax, with no immediate improvement, you are right about Redline though, made mine worse.
