i/c water spray not working
as above there is no light on the manual switch but the auto switch is illuminated. the bottle has not used any water. when you press the manual button nothing happens. i've checked the fuses behind the cubby hole next to the ignition and under the bonnet and there all ok all the pipes seem to be ok (none kinked)

Next step if fuses are ok is to check you`re getting voltage to the pump. I`m guessing there`ll also be a relay or 2 knocking about somewhere? a failed relay could be the problem.
If voltage is getting to the pump, maybe whip the pump out and see if its seized?

I have the same problem. Checked the pump by connecting it to the washer system wiring and it works fine. Checked the fuses and none are blown and checked the switch which also seems fine. I checked there is voltage getting to the switch which there is and the other end of the wiring next to the pump and there isn't any voltage there. Where is this relay you are talking about? is it in the same panel as the fuses beneath the steering column?

Mike, does Dave have water spray? or do you know anyone else that does? easy way to check relays then would be to swap them over and see what happens.

I can recommend a good auto electrician "Gus"
Failing that I've heard Abby can be occasionally seen with a Fluke in his hand ,think he's carrying it for someone

well i found out what the problem was, 2 of the wires that connect to the switch had come loose, after a little trile and error i figured out which way they go. looking at the top the top right hand side is a black wire and on the same side on the bottom its the purple wire. on the opposite side its a yellow/red wire, it goes next to the purple. still on the left hand side of the plug the second connection down is a re/white wire.
now i can spray till my harts content
