Just upgraded my Type RA fuel pump to one of these, I was surprised to find that the filter net supplied with the pump was so small compared to the original. Is this normal, has anyone had any problems with these.

 

Yes - you should fit the OE filter sock to the new pump, otherwise fuel surge will occur on hard right hand corners.
