Default knocklink (safc2)

i have an safc 2 sat in the garage doing nothing would the knocklink on this be effective enough or do i need a seperate one like most other people have

im sure this does work as a seperate knoc link when fitted correctly

The SAFC-2 gets the signal for the knock directly from the impreza ECU.

I've heard different stories from different places that the Bosch sensor is more sensitive (as used with the knocklink).

However, Using the SAFC knock sensor display would be suitable due to the fact that knock will still show up, allowing you to adjust your driving before blowing your engine (hopefully).

Something is always better than nothing in the guage area IMO.

cheers highlander could i not hook up a bosch sensor and run it of that instead (still leaving the original one as it is meant to be )

Not worth it. The SAFC just uses the ECU signal.

how do i know when it is to much det the scale is 0-50 on the safc2 is there a norm point
