Default Fitting Injectors/adjustable fuel pressure regulator

I have a MY98 UK, for which I've just got some new injectors, and FSE adj fuel pressure regulator. I've got a rough idea on what's involved, but need to make sure before I set off to work.

I did a search, but I can't seem to find any guide to fitting either of the above. Can anyone show me to any site, or explain how these can be fitted?

TIA

Try here
I think is the better guide in scoobynet for fitting a regulator, with good photos.

Never seen a full guide to fitting injectors, but there's some tips here: http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=201842

You (and I) are lucky that phase 1 FPRs are held in with hex headed screws and not the crappy philips jobbies on the later cars, they are a doddle to remove. Watch that O-Ring though!

Thumbs up

Hi,

About to have a go at fitting mine too, also MY98. Can anyone confirm the pressure that I should set the regulator to? There are 2 different figures in that fitting guide.

Thanks

Nearly forgot, The regulator was supplied with an oil filled gauge, the instructions say to remove this after adjustment of the regulator and something about cutting the black cap off the side of the gauge. wont this let the oil out?

Cheers

If you cut the cap off the Glycerol damping oil will leak out

Cheers
