Question Flat spot ideas/damp

My 93 wrx import
Decat.
At the weekend I noticed a flat spot occasionaly in mid range.
So I checked coil packs even though new (5 months old), the
2 on the drivers side had black rings on the copper plate inside
and the spring seemed jammed inside not springy when puched up.
So I used dampstart on them, which freed them.

The other 2 were fine but still used dampstart on them.

I went for a drive and the car seemed the fastetest/ best it has ever
been.

Over the last couple of very damp days it's flat spoting again, but not
all the time.

I would normally suspect plug breakdown, but after what i did the other
day think it's not and maybe damp getting to the packs on the drivers side.

Anyone else had similar?
