Calipers, discs and pads are needed, 2 pots are 277mm disc, 4 pots are 294mm.
They'll fit fine, so long as you have wheels that will go over them, and price wise, anything form £250 and up so long as you get discs and pads that are at least usable.

Legacy GTB's come with 294mm discs with 2-pot calipers, and 17" wheels.
The Subaru 4-pot calipers are known to be very close on the standard GTB alloys, but most aftermarket 17" alloys with a 'flat' spoke design (ie not curving back to where the caliper sits) fit over perfectly.

If you need cheap 294mm discs, remember that they were fitted to various Legacy, Outback and Foresters (bigger cars need bigger discs), so you don't have to pay Impreza WRX/STI prices for the same thing. But these have single pot or two-pot calipers, not four-pots. Same fitment though.

Rich.

They will fit under some 15 inch wheels. The wheel diameter is less of an issue than the spoke clearance, as the end of the caliper can catch there if you're unlucky.

As to whether they'll fit your wheels, which model Speedlines are they, and roughly how old?

No - the Legacy 2 pots are a different design. Big fat chunky cast iron lumps that weigh a tonne

The 294mm discs for the Legacy/Forester are the same as the 294mm discs for the Imprezas that have 294mm discs. The box my discs came in lists Imprezas as well as Legacys and Foresters on the side.
