Default re mapping?

do i need to re map my 94wrximp to run 1.1/1.2 bar cos i only want to use this boost on track days not all the time, ive got a controller wich i turn back to standard for everyday use. wat is the best thing to do!??

i would of thought just turning the boost up for a track day without any other mapping would be very bad for your engine as you are really going to stress it out for the time you are on the track

what shall i do as i dont want to run it at high all of the time and if i mapped it to 1.2 and run at .75 wat would happen?

get an uprated fuel pump to start with

If you got one of the fabled ScoobyECU or other plug in remap chip variants, then you could have it fitted with a switch, so chip for track, normal for road driving.
Doubt you would want to switch back down though!!!

Running at less than max boost would be fine, as the map covers all sorts of boosts, loads, throttle positions etc. not jusy out and out full boost!
You'd save fuel, engine stress and that big grin at 0.75 bar boost !
