Question Smoke when starting car on angle [WORRY MODE ON/OFF?]

Ok ive noticed that when i park my car at work for 8 hours and come back and start it there is a bit of smoke that comes out of the backbox...

Also worth mentioning is that the car when parked IS NOT LEVEL and the front end of the car is raised up due to the slight slope where i park the car.

Anything to worry about or could it be something related to the angle of the car and the way the oil is settling after 8 hours?

Ive not noticed it doing this when parked at home on level road.

Thoughts on whats going on appreciated guys.

Same here, I had to stump up £2500 on a rebuild and £1600 on a GEMS. Get a compression test done, kiss your **** and hope you've wiped it.

Hi, mine did this when it was nearly new. It has now covereved 6300 miles and will occasionally still do it. I have the benefit of new car warranty, but my drive is not particually steep, and the car faces downhill. It did it regurlary when it had just had the 1k service, but now either it is bedding in, or the oil level is low enough to stop it burning at startup. I cant give a definative answer, but safe to say it is not just your car that does it.

Well im sending it in soon for a full service so i can ask about a compression test then...

Also about a month ago i topped up my oil with some shell 5/40w oil and the level is just over max by a milimetere or somert...

Maybe too much oil is a possible cause also and if so could i damage the car with oil level only a bit just over max?

I best get it into that full service anyhow to be sure...
