Not really tbh as long as you have all the right bits, I ended up having to get a new rad from Grade A as the one I had was the wrong fitting

What I would do if I was you, is test fit everything all pipework etc before fitting to the car, as I got stuck and couldnt drive it until I got the correct rad

If you do a search on *Sonic* username and Air Con I have a few threads with some more info, just not had chance to put it on ScoobyPedia yet

Those pictures are quite helpful to a degree, depending on the year of your car

Dont forget to get it gassed too, Ive added the gas quantity and compressor oil quantities too now to the article

The Heater Matrix was probably the hardest part but on a MY99-00 its still quite straight forward, remove the glove box completly (just be careful round the passenger air bag) and its 3 bolts to remove the matrix, you will need deep sockets and adjustable extension bars, small and nimble hands too for one of the bolts

once you get your kit, if you need any help then let me know

Ollie

Thanks for editing the spelling, and adding the JDM bits too

I forgot to add that bit, even the JDM models vary between each other, as I sold a spare matrix that wouldnt fit any other car except a Type R strangely enough

Thats cool

Thanks for the info, when i get the unit gassed are they likely to be able to fill it up with oil too?

Gonna start cleaning and preping the bits tonight (its a second hand kit):

Right, day 1 down all installed but i broke a bit and they sent me the wrong second radiator rad....never managed to get it filled either!

It was very handy for Grade A to send me loads of extra bits, but meant i had to waste time taking other bits off! Also i think the donor car ended up i a ditch or the engine exploded. There was oil and dirt everywhere!

Is there any way, without the system currently being gassed, to tell if its working?

PS i think the hardest part was trying to work out in which order the rubber grommits went on the condesor! That took me for ever trying to fit them!
