MY99 STi, SECS 1003, oil pressure, oil temperature and my mate Bob
I have an MY99 STi RA with a SECS monitor fitted. It has never shown Oil Temp or Oil Pressure, I've always been in the understanding that remote senders have been required to enable this.
Since Bob Rawle has had his mitts on her (and what a job that guy has done too ) both Oil Temp and Oil Pressure seem to have values in them
Does this seem correct, does the ECU have sensors for these? The values look acceptable, though I don't know what they should be. With the Oil Temp sauntering around 72-75 deg C (raised to 81 deg C when the engine was stopped). And the oil pressure being 51-52 psi, though this only dropped to 47 psi???? Though there are other values that never fall below a certain preset value on the unit.
For ages I've been toying with the idea of getting the senders for these, and now they seem to have 'magically' appeared
Just one other thing, the SECS is showing a limit on boost at 18.6 psi, I'm now running in excess of this (strange thing is all things I've read suggest a 18.4psi limit ), again I see a remote sender can be used for this, where can I get one?

On the day, when I turned on your ign, I noted the same thing, that was before remapping so its more than likely that the PSi3 is just displaying anonymous readings, certainly there is nothing in the ecu to provide that info, I remember it clearly as I was a little suprised at first, checked underbonnet and no sign of senders. The boost limit is a limit in the ecu output, PSi3 need to link it to absolute pressure instead of relative then it will read above that, in Deltadash the relative limit is 1.27 bar or 18.4 psi.

BTW, did I say fanx for the work? Each time I drive the car it just seems to feel better
That tickled me slightly, as I've done exactly the same thing tonight just in case you'd put them in there and forgot to remove them. LOL
It is odd, I'd be interested to see what it reads in the morning. I've just been out there now and it still says 81, turned it over and it went up to 86 then down to 75 again. It all looks very reasonable in the way that it is behaving??!??!?
Edited to add;
Tell Branko I've just ordered a great big fat set of brakes
