fuel pump and reg question...
I have just bought a walboro fuel pump and fse pressure regulator.
I opened the box and checked out the fuel pump, sound.
the other box contained a power boost valve with a little gauge on it, is that right?
Im not naming the supplier because this is only down to my ignorance! (and in the gen. tech. section not third party)
just wanted to make sure Ive bought the right kit, I would have rung but im on the net so no broadband here.
regards
Andy

The reg is marked up as 'power boost valve', just check that it is a 1:1 reg (ie an extra PSi of fuel for every PSi of boost) and not a rising rate one. If you bought it off AS Perfmormance then you're safe as they only supply the 1:1 for Scoobs, though the box makes it look like a rising rate.
I think the name 'Power Boost Valve' and the rising rate regs are primarily targetted at the Saxo market. They're pretty good on all accounts, I saw a post on one of their forums the other day stating that since he'd fitted his power boost valve, electric fan powered super charger gizmo and that whistling authentic turbo noise attachment for his exhaust he's beaten a Ferrari 355, a Porsche 911 and an Austin Allegro
