Sorry to ask again about this one...

The loom that comes with the Sytec (Walbro stamped on the side) Motorsport pump, can the red wire just be connected to the blue and red wires from the OE pump wiring; and the black wire just be connected to the OE black wires?

(If that makes any sense?)

Do they need to be linked to the OE resistor?

After reading all the previous posts on this subject, is it best to put the OE filter sock onto the new pump?
