OK - If I've found a TD05, with 90 degree entry - can I modify it to FE fairly easily (Or have it done ?)

I've noticed that TD05s seem to get snapped up quick, but seem to have found a source - so there must be a catch.....

You can get a front entry compressor cover for about 100quid iirc, dunno where from though

I think that early leggies had them

 

so any Subaru Impreza TD05 would do the job then.... (Assuming I was having it converted...)

Stamped on the compressor cover and should look like this :-

Well, its here and it says td05h on the cover, so

It seems to have the water pipes too, (assuming that they look like your bottom photo).. It's also got the rubber boost hoses attached !

FE conversion time....
