Default Apexi Auto Timer

...Just ordered one off eBay, but do I need to get the wiring harness aswell or can it be hardwired into the car? (A GC8)

If I do need a harness, where can I get one from at a reasonable price?

I looked at the harness on Taka Kaira, it was around a tenner, but by the time duty & shipping etc was paid, it turned out to be £30!!

Cheers ears

Default New Q

ok I'll answer my own question!

I've been told by a reputable tuning outfit that the harness is not suitable for UK turbo's. The timer needs to be wardwired in.

New Q: Will it affect the immobilisers (standard & CAT1)??

Yes, and it might invalidate your insurance policy as well!

if you fit an hks (or similar) wiring harness, it will work well.

the only problem should be the o2 part
