I want to do an ECU reset. Is there a way you can do it from the steering column under dash OBD2 connector or do you have to do it directly on the ECU? I need simple instructions as i'm a clueless monkey.
i dont want to do the disconnect battery thing because my alarm goes off if i do that. (Does anyone know how to bypass this also as disconnecting the battery is a fairly useful thing for me?!)
cheers

ECU Reset Instructions are here.
Some alarms have a proceedure to tell the alarm that you are about to disconnect the battery so it doesn't need to worry about it. My Clifford does, but it still often goes off when you reconnect the battery.
