Help!! New age inlet pipe removal...
Help! I'm in the middle of removing the inlet manifold and air inlet pre-turbo plastic pipe. I've found two small bolts under the inlet manifold that are a pain to remove. I've got one off, but the other has no space around it to get a socket in - I think it will be possible to remove the bolt if the air inlet pipe is removed. My trouble is that it would be easier to remove the air inlet once the inlet manifold is off...talk about pain in the ****.
It seems the air inlet pipe has a fixing bracket at the front (away from the turbo) that has a bolt fixing. I've managed to unscrew the bolt but find the bracket stops me from removing it as there's a thick set of electrical wires very tight over the top of the inlet pipe.
Anyone found a method to remove this lot as I've sorted the inlet manifold fittings, just need to remove the last remaining bolt under the manifold (that holds the fuel pipes in place) and the air inlet plastic job.
