Default Fitted a Walbro tonight

I fitted a Walbro to our new Type RA tonight. Dead easy job, 30 mins start to finish

Id advise you to release the pressure in the tank by undoing the top plate before pulling off the small fuel pipe as ours was puming fuel out for ages and we had to mop it all up

Other than that it was easy peasie so dont fret the job if youre going to do it to your own Scooby

What have you done to your car, other than arbs and splitter? From what I gather tuning Scoobys goes something like:

Exhaust
Decat
Plugs
Raise boost
Pump
Injectors/management

Im ok for everything other than decats, I cant find them for sensible money

I also fitted HKS springs that I got for a great price off a cracking trader, but got no lolly

The splitter you're thinking of was sold on, as it was for the newer version, so now i have the STi4 splitter.

Then it's just a 2000 interior, STi spoiler, STi rims and some clear lights

I fitted a rear gp N box from TSL, but no real mods, as I'm always thinking about it going pop, mainly due to the scaremongering on this board I tried to get a ScoobyECU too, but they WILL NOT reply. Been trying since April, then gave up. They could take a leaf out of your book, mate but aren't full time traders and have other jobs. Still.......

never had that problem on my TypeR. But then it could be ambient haet as I changed mine later in the year.

But I did unplug the wires and then run the engine till it stalled to depressurise the rails.
