Post Gettting my Scooby off the ground

Hpefully this is an easy question to answer.

But are there any good jacking points on a scooby apart from the sills.

In the past i have found sills to be difficult with trolly jacks especillaly when i want either both front or rear wheel off at the same time.

Can anyone help.

I don't think you should use trolley jacks under the sills as you can damage the chasis. The rear jacking point for a trolley jack is under the rear diff (silver box mid-way between the wheels as you look under the rear of the car). For the front there is a cross-member section under the engine, and if your car has an undertray the jacking point will be the only square bit under the engine that is exposed. I find my car (MY00) is too low to get the trolley jack under so I use the standard Subaru jack on the sill to raise it a few inches before I put the trolley jack under, and I always place a small flat square of wood on top of the trolley jack to prevent the metal damaging the jack points.

I have the same problem, but an alternative is to drive the car onto a couple of planks of wood, which raises the car off the floor by the required amount.

I remember this being asked a couple years back and Pete Croney (Ex Scoobysport) confirmed:

The rear diff and both of the front towing eyes.
