How lightened do you want to go to?
Std is say 11.5 - 12 kgs.
Road use lightened often 8kgs, but aftermarket billet alluminium / steel etc are around 4 - 5 kgs!!!
8ks - machined OEM or similar, around £100 exchange.
4 kgs flywheels cost £350 - £400 IIRC
A lighter flywheel will seem to allow engine pick up quicker and better. (Less metal to turn around as it accelerates ). A very light flywheel will spin up even faster, but if you get the clutch take up wrong, it will likely stall- not enough weight to keep engine spinning!
So too light, not good in traffic, starting off, drag racing/drop the clutch situations.
But good pick up between gears.
Your choice. Ask the garage their view too.

Hi redeye / Steve BT
I got an exchange machined one from ASPerformance for £100, it gets fitted very soon!
I would go for this type at around 8kg, at best a 6kg billet one if you want to spend more. Best benefit per pound isthe 8kg one.
If you race but have few starts, a lighter one would help more.
Street use and 1/4 miles / drags a medium one is easier to drive with, unless you are prepared to practice getting the revs/clutch release just perfect.
If possible, try a car with very light flywheel and medium weight flywheel and see what you prefer.
At 300 bhp, should be ok.
DON'T machine under 8kg on a std flywheel tho, it may break up under load!!!
