Default Slow Starter Motor????

I have noticed that suddently my Starer motor is turning over very slowly.

I suspect the battery did not like the car being left for two weeks in garage while I was on holiday.
But, on my return after two weeks the car started on the button.

When it does start all the lights get brighter which makes me thing the Alternator is OK.

I have charged it up overnight, but is still slower than it used to be.

Before I stump for a new (gotta Be White) battery,

has anyone else had this problem.

Forgot to mention, my car has an uprated earthing kit as well!

I had this problem on a legacy,it wouldnt do it all the time but eventualy gave up.Changing the starter sorted the problem.

Best to get a new battery first, then check the connections to the starter(or the other way round first).

Maybe one of the 6 cells has failed in the battery? The plates will warp and eventually short out inside the battery if it is given too many deep discarges.

Change the battery first, it's more likely to be that.
Starter motors are MUCH more expensive
