Are WRX and STi, and UK headers all the same though?
I agree each aftermarket manufacturere of headers has their own ideas / design ... for better and for worse...

on the classic yes, they are all the same design, the only ones that differ are jdm wrx up to 96 as they had the lambda in the headers instead of the downpipe.
only differance being a hole for the lambda.
not sure about the 01-04 cars

I disagree I bought a used set for a classic from Grade A to port for my MY98 and after doing all the work they wouldn't fit... The driver's side was the same (if I remember correctly) but the other was different so the joining pipe wouldn't line up. I sent them back and got a refund but I don't know which model they came from although I specified what I wanted. Just be careful...

that is very strange, all exhaust ports are in the same place on all heads.
you can fit a set of aftermarket headers that are made for an my04 on to a my93.
was it the length of the joining pipe that was wrong???
