Here we go again!!

Have an oil leak, seems to be coming out of the bottom of the timing belt cover slightly on nearside, is it crankshaft oil seal? Oil then dropping on header as it crosses across the front of the car with usual smell etc!!

Any ideas?

And....what sort of job is it,a pig or a poke?

Just had a crank shaft seal leak diagnosed which does sound very similar (Spotting on driveway an oily smell and the occasional puff of smoke. It's a very common problem along with the rocker head gasket (smokes a lot more). It's a 3 hour job for a good mechanic. The seal is £8 but the downer is that a new cambelt is required. This is allegedly down to the risk of the old one getting degraded or slippy from oil. Obviously oem ones aren't cheap but I got a non oem one on the net for £48 delivered. (The only difference is the oem has markings to help line it up but this would be no problem for a good mechanic.) Hope this helps.
