Unhappy Noise from my Steering Wheel

When I rev the car to 2000rpm, turn the wheel left or right and hold it I get this crunching notice can only hear it in the car and is rather annoying.

I have taken off the steering column, and seem that the noise is traveling up from within the engine bay, but can not hear there…

I have recently had a TD05 fitted, could it be a bracket vibrating and sending the sound up the steering column?

Anyone got any ideas on what it can be?
