Anybody know how to install a rear fog lamp for an import, easiet way, & what components would be required...other than the lamp, wire & switch.

Wanna save money on the labour side, can't be that hard??, its a 1994, so no strict sva measurements!!, as long as it lights up when the button is pressed!

A diagram would be very helpful.

I changed the rear lights on mine so the fog lamp is incorporated in the cluster (you need to change both side so the side light patterns match), then took a feed off the switched side light power feed on the back light and ran to one side of the fog lamp then ran the other to the switch on my dash, then from the switch to earth (plus a loop to make the illuminated switch work).

The only problem is, strictly speaking the fog lamps should only work with headlamp and main beam (not side lights aswell) but I checked a few of my friends imports and theirs did this aswell.

Please no slagging off for being right or wrong, this is how my car is done.

I have put a red bulb in the N/S reverse light so no need for an aftermarket fog light ruining the lines of the car
