Does anyone know if a scoobyecu for a 94-96 uk, will work on a 94 wrx import?

when i got my scoobyecu it was mapped for a wrx and i got a uk wagon and it didnt work
so a fellow scoobynetter got them programmed for a uk car
so i would of thought its the same the other way round

There are different maps for different ECUS used in the different years of cars and JAP / UK models.

A big diference too is the turbo used.
