Question crank pulley removal!

took the rad out to do this as i needed to changed the woodruff key!, my question is how the hell do you bleed the air out the coolant system when its all back in.

is it the conventional header tank cap off start it up and put the blowers on full?

or is it different with the scoob as is everything else.

I dont think that you need to put the heating on to bleed it,AFAIK its as you say,a take the cap off and put the coolant in job.

I take it you had to take the rad out to put a gun or breaker bar onto the bolt then?

I posted a how to a while back, i have since found a better system that works well.

Get a funnel, take off the pipe that runs from the top of the turbo to the header tank (take off header tank end) fit funnel to pipe and fill until header tank fills up.

Done.

i had to remove the rad because the snapped woodruff key had to be taken out. this left a piece of the key in the crank resulting in the cambelt cog being removed to get out the remaining piece. which i did not do by the way. i have to put the rad in and wondered how to bleed the air out, as i dont know how to do it on a scoob.
