Exclamation cant work out problem with power loss

Been having a few issues with the 99, mainly that under certain conditions I have had a sudden loss of power.
I had it mapped (pfc) about 3 weeks ago and its been a joy to use apart from in the last fortnight its developed a fault.

thought I had a misfire and changed the plugs and it felt really good.
but this morning on the way to work; going for it (well, fairly 1.2bar) in fourth and I had a spike on the knock display (49 ) with a sudden loss of power.
it was back on in a fraction of a second but I dont want to be caning around with this over my head.

it doesnt happen all the time under the same conditions though,
Ive been mapped to 1.3 bar, but with my sloppy box shifting (I seem to blip the throttle as I shift) Ive seen 1.4 bar on the avc-r.
willing to try most things because other than this little point, the car has never felt so smooth through the entire rev range and after changing the plugs (which I thought was the cure) I have spent the last two days tear assing around happy as a gopher in soft dirt without any problem (til this morning)

is you maf or lamda sensor still working, as my maf died in an instant also try adding some NF as a temp measure. you didnt hit the limiter by any chance when you got a 49 spike on the commander

not unless my limiter dropped to 4400rpm.
lambda is a new item, will look at wiring integrity this weekend as its spliced in (like the previous one before it).
adding NF will ony work if its actual DET wont it Steve?
