Re charging would be about £60.00

But it may have a leak in the system, depends if you can hear the compressor start up or not.

Air Con repairs can cost rather alot mate.

My aircon stinks really bad. Have heard it can be cleaned, is this true?

Yep it would be the Evap coil. this is the coil which gets freezing cold, the re circ ulated air passes throughj it to cool the air down, the air condensates and forms water, this water sits in a small pan, goes all mouldy with loads of nasty thing living in it, when you turn the AC back on again mmmmmmmmm nice smell.

GEt it cleaned once a year ! Most Proper Specialists can carry this out for a small fee.
