Default Apexi Power Fc MAp & AndyF

Big thanks to Andy for his work on my Scoob, Car was lively before @ 311 Bhp & 272Ft/Lbs, But now feels really strong through the Gears, Much more Torque & is maxing out the Airflow meter (hmm. Next Mod i thinks )

TOp Job & all quite painless , Well almost !! Apart from guzzling Gallons of Fuel on 550's with the Prodrive Ecu on the way up .

Thanks Andy

Big Thumbs Up

Dean, I'm looking forward to the same experience!
Did you drive the car any real distance with the 550/stock-ish ecu to Andy's?
What turbo do you have?
I don't know whether to trailer the Sti to Andy's or what...

Thanks Dean Hope your fuel consumption was a bit better on the way home

Steve, you should get yourself some sort of performance meter and check it from time to time Ever since I fitted the Apexi RSM it has saved me wondering where the power has gone, it was still there, all that was happening was I was becoming accustomed to it Or, as you say find an unsuspecting passenger to give you their impression !

where can i get one of these "apexi RSM's" and how much £££
i remeber the 1st time i got in jonnygavs car when it had 370bhp and it gave me the butterflies in my stomach right up to 4th gear jonny loved it and said that he had got used to it well im used to it car doesnt have the mental acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear like it used to with the td05 but after that its quicker making the same boost on bigger turbo but its not the same its smoother and longer , so it feels slower fmic could be on the cards and beat jonny's bhp figure , ive been doing a lot of shor journeys lately and i know due to the turbo being wrapped when its warm its far far quciker could be that as well

forgot to say andy remember that 1.1bar setting you made for me the one that never gets used its nice to have but ive found it easier to pull back at 5k rpm

911,

Drove the Car about 270 miles on the 550's with a TD05, It was not to bad of a journey, just kept it off boost & feathered the throttle, which made my foot ache terrible & also meant more time getting upto & satying at motorway speeds, The Afr was showing rich all the time even off boost.
But as i say quite painlesss really, I would drive her up..

Andy Fuel consumption was great on the way back I might even say better than the Prodrive & the 360's, Had a good blast last night & the bends use to come up quick, But now they really appear quick

Thanks for the info. I'll soon be 550's + TD05 20g of Andy's. Scotland's along way from me though!
