mot help please!!!!!!!!
My 95 wrx is failing on the emissions sides of mot becouse all the cats have been removed for a streight through blith system, i need a "friendly" mot center which is local to oxfordshire which can help!!
I did have a few gents offering me last time but i no longer have there user names........if it was u please send me a message and i will give you a call.........tax is out and im with out a car
I have gone down the road of putting it back to standard but no one can get the manifold off

Your car will still fail, even a decat friendly MOT centre will fail you.
You have to look into the problem, why is your car pushing too much CO2.
Your options are the Lamba sensor and O2 sensor (these seem to be the biggest cause of higher emissions).
Considering that my last scoob passed its first MOT with a decat and something like 0.01% CO2 emissions, (PPP'd also), its pointing to more than just the decat.

You car will NOT fail unless the CO levels are above 3.5% and HC above 1200ppm.The fact that you have removed the cats is NOT reason for rejection.
Your model is NOT listed on the MOT data base so it cannot be tested on a full cat test if it FAILS the BETS test....as your MOT tester,he should know the rules and it is written in the tester guide for all to see.
This applies only if yours is manufactured/registered upto 8/95 (as yours is a MY95 model it will fall into this group).
