Default crappy helfrauds!!!

can anyone tell me what measurements for the wheels are required to fit 18's onto a my96 ra.

the missus just went to halfords who told her 18's they wont fit the old shape subaru because the arches arent wide enough What bull****

so what i need to know is:-

they are 18's i want, what offset and width of wheel is required to have no problems fitting?

P1's came with 18" as an optional extra. not quite sure of offset but think they are 48mm, wheel width 71/2".
subaru dealer should be able to confirm this.

7.5 inch with an offset of ET48 - ET53.
ET53 is the prodrive recommended
8 inch need to be at least ET50 and you will need a 225 instead of a 215.

Talking

ET53 offset for MY99 would think same for your motor. Halfords normally stock ET45 fitment, whilst Subaru require a different offset from normal motors. So maybe some truth in the guys reply.Mine are 18 x 7.5 x ET53 and they are P1 type Prodrive wheels.
