help loss of boost

boost pipe come off.. check all the pipework, under the intercooler and between intercooler and throttle body.
Either that or uppipe or header leak but would expect you to smelll fumes if it was this bad.

had a bit of a look today, started taking the intercooler off and the pipes to the turbo and snapped the plastic nipple on the big plastic box (dont know what its called but the one after the airfilter box and before the turbo) yes snapped the plastic nipple that a small pipe connects to from the thingy that bolts on the inner wing(dont know what this is either) tried araldite but waste of time, i have a new box on order from main stealers but this wont be in until friday at the earliest. my new years resolution will be buy a manual so i know what bits are and let a garage do all the work in the future, worst of all i didnt see what my original problem was

the box is a resonator.
Block the hole in it and leave the pipe open to atmosphere, it connects to the boost solienoid, I ran with mine like that for about 60,000miles after I did exactly the same.

Have you tried reseting the ecu? It could be stuck in limp home mode due to a fault somewhere else i.e not boost problem. Has the CEL light come on recently?
Check it hasnt been over filled with oil.
Check all the boost pipes for cracks and that the turbo to intercooler pipe is tight and again not split.

all the pipes have been checked as have the headers, new uppipe,
i wouldnt have a clue how to reset the ecu and dont know if i would want to myself, how easy is this to do, the car has been on the diagnostic machine at extreme and all is running fine apparently,
sorry for sounding stoopid but whats the CEL light,
oil is not above the max
is it possible for the BOV to be faulty/leaking as im sure the turbo never used to make the same noise when boosting like a whoosing kind of noise similar to the noise of the BOV when releasing but not as loud
some of you reading this must think im a right ticket hahaha

Sorry to jump in
I suffered the same thing yesterday/today.
usually run 1.32 bar and have had lambda sensor changed, new headers fitted, recently also changed downpipe and fitted WBo2.
I know I have a very small leak on the up pipe/header flange, Im hoping it will cook itself otherwise I will fit a second gasket when I fit the front mount.
I also had a slight leak on the downpipe/turbo flange but tightened down and it seems sealed.
I know Im blowing at the downpipe/centre flange because I can hear it.
Would the downpipe/centre section blowing cause me to lose 0.15bar?

will do, however I think it may be related to the avc-r (perhaps the atmos. pressure has changed?) as its down at 3k rpm and 3.5k rpm, after that it seems to have rediscovered its missing boost
