currently my car is running 295 bhp & 265lb/ft torque at 16psi. Only mods are hks induction, grenade full exhaust, blitz boost controller.

would like to get a safe 350bhp, budget is 2k.

suggestions?

2k budget is a bit small IMHO.

Fitting an apexi power fc, uprated fuel pump, good fpr or injector would see a good gain, and would come in at less than 2k.

 

Downgraded the power target then?

I think 340 is realistic with headers, full decat, good filter, possibly a bigger TMIC and a TEK3 remap.

350 plus gets a bit more tricky... you would have to look to upgrading the VF29 and so on....

Full decat 3''
Walbro 225 + 550cc injectors
FPR upgrade
Tube headers/up pipe/wraped
Apexi FC/Andy F map
3 port Boost solenoid
FMIC/or Sti8 TMIC

Cost = £3K

You will not do that for £2000, but i think you can expect 350 bhp/320 lbft torque.
Just right for a 2.5 litre upgrade to get the magic '400 x 400' motor.(another £2K)

Plus the other mod you need of course, a good transmission....£2k

Therefore, a 350 bhp plus car that's bullet proof will cost about £7K (DIY)
Incidentally, to get an early 911 to 350 costs about the same......
