WOW! just put my car through its 30k & it only cost me about £100 ( oil + filter, air filter ). i'm not aware of 30k being a major service, all my fluids were changed a couple of years ago tho & my cam belt last year.

From memory, I paid about £650 to Subaru Aylesbury last month.
Incidently - not sure if its related, but yesterday the engine started clattering like real bad, same garage thinks that the big end may have gone - and that I am looking at 800 quid to strip the engine just to determine the problem plus 800 quid to put back together labour only. MY02 import no warranty. 31000 miles.

hi
no i spoke to subaru park royal - they said 600. i spoke to subaru essex they saud 450!!!!

thing is its only an all fluid change...nothing mechanical...
i wouldnt have anticipated more than 300 all in. then i spoke to xtreme scoobies and they said 450 too.

i went to a local garage that is well known and he said he woiuld do it for 140 all in. but im a bit hesitant to give the car to someone that doesnt specialise...tho the guy does sound like he knows what hes doing..

im really confused...
