Without wishing to upset the apple cart and being interested in this product, within 30 secs I found it for $349 (seems like parity, but not at £1 to $1.8ish) so even for a group buy I expect a much better discount even having to pay customs etc!

As we said above, a group buy discount could be arranged.

The PLX kit is even dearer for the basic kit. The advantage with the innovate is that the output from the digital box can be fed back into your ECU in other words its compatable for use with ECUTEK.

Techedge is **** compared to some, depending on which model you have.

Conrad... what is the exhaust bung and plug? Is that a bung for a standard lambda sensor take off or is it like a bung to stick up the end of the tail pipe to monitor from there?

I have an innovate excellent kit, interfaces nicely with FC Datalogit, the bung is a weld on boss type like the oem one.

Tony, the bung is as CataIunya has explained.

As part of the available "extras" are the following products;
Window mount system,

Neat AFR gauge that interfaces with the system

Autronics interface cable, Gives the ECU the WB input as the Autronic ECU requires it.

Exhaust clamp (to hold it up the rear of the exhaust ~ handy when on the dyno

There is also a very clever interface box...

The AuxBox attaches to the auxiliary input of the LM-1 and allows a user to log and analyze 5 critical engine metrics in addition to the air/fuel ratio native on the LM-1. The AuxBox makes the LM-1 into a complete tuning kit, allowing the user to capture, view, and analyze data on all 6 channels that the LM-1 can log internally. Correlating AFR, RPM, MAP, and CHT, for example, is essential when tuning piggy-back fuel controllers, ECU programmers, aftermarket ECUs, or racing carburetors.

The 5 internal sensors are intended for capturing Manifold Air Pressure (MAP or Boost), Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) or Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), RPM conversion (from a tach signal or inductive clamp), Acceleration, and Injector Duty Cycle (or Dwell). The internal MAP sensor is a 3-bar absolute pressure sensor, providing accurate data up to 44.1 PSIA. The temperature measurement circuit features a K-type thermocouple. The internal accelerometer features 2 axis measurements for a variety of mounting options.

Another key application of the AuxBox is road testing. Even a dyno doesn’t provide as much real data as road testing. Factors like air flow, side force, and load vary significantly on a real road. With an AuxBox, a user can log 6 channels, in multiple sessions, for up to 44 minutes. Then, back at the garage, simply connect the LM-1 to you PC and view all of you log data. Use LogWorks to view fuel mapping, perform statistical analysis, overlay graphs, and playback a log on the virtual gauges. You can also view realtime data on LogWorks’ gauges if you want to take your laptop on the road.

The AuxBox also includes 5 external inputs for connecting external sensors in lieu of the internal sensors. This allows users to log data from external sensors like TPS or suspension data.

The AuxBox ships with mounting hardware, a 6’ thermocouple wire, the LM-1 connecting cable, and the user manual.

And to finish it off, even the ECUTEK system is now supporting it

ECUTEK / Deltadash LM-1 Configuration

Why do people always go on about 'i can get this from the US, i can get that'

I tell you what you can get, up to a month wait if customs **** you about, a suprise duty bill if customs see fit, bwteeen £50-100 for something that weighs 500g... FFS!!

Very very good product IMHO, works well and is well supported!!

Oh yes and it is in this country already

Dont forget the hassles of shipping it back if/when anything goes wrong!
I have a vf22 at home with a knackered compressor wheel, I saved about £100 buying it from the US.
worthless now of course

Dave, the AFR gauges will be ready to ship in about 3 weeks, there in the final fettling stage. We received a bulletin yesterday confirming this. We have ordered some, final price unknown yet, drop me a mail / pm in about 3 weeks to see if they have landed.

Regards

Conrad
