Default Could it be my Induction kit??

My '93 WRX becomes very unstable when its been/or is raining. The car judders, hesitates, misfires etc..
Ive checked everything i can think of e.g coil packs, plugs etc.. My final thought is could my HKS Mega Flow Ind' filter be getting wet via the cold air inlet and then sucking water ito places it shouldnt be?? Sounds a bit daft i know but im well and truly at a loss as to whats causing this.

Seen it a few times where the water gets into the filter & then causes running or non starting issues; nothing a good old hairdryer can't sort out

It does it every time it rains though... I set off the car is fine, after about 5 mins driving ( enough time for water to get at something) the car starts to hesitate, misfire, hold back etc.. It does this more when i am trying to pull away at junctions, lights etc..

You could always make a cover to fit over the filter to stop water getting in like i did.

Is this a common fault with Induction Kits then as there seems to be one or two on here who have made there own covers??
