Default apexi power fc installation Help

Just about to fit my apexi power fc into my 1995 sti, I've heard or read you have to swap wires around on the ecu loom plugs, or is that if its being fitted to a uk model impreza

Swap for a UK Impreza, at least for 99/00. Try it without, if they are wrong it shouldn't fire up.

You only have to swap the crank and cam sensor wires if the car is a UK model, as the Apexi Power FC was made for the JDM market cars i.e WRX's and STI's. So it should just plug in and away you go.
